Perhat Yazberdiyevich Yagshyyev
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Turkmenistan
Yagshyyev Perhat Yazberdiyevich was born on December 6, 1984, in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. From 2002 to 2006, he studied at the STANKIN State Technological University in Moscow, Russian Federation, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Management in the field of Economics.After graduation, he worked as an accountant for product placement at «TurkmenCholi ES» from February 2007 until June of the same year. From March 2009 until April 2010, Perhat worked as a specialist in the Material and Technical Supply Department at the Ashgabat Textile Complex of the Ministry of Textile Industry in Turkmenistan. Then he worked as a leading specialist at the Finished Product Placement Department at the Medical and Cosmetic Cotton Products Factory in Ashgabat. Finally, he worked as an inspector of construction materials in the Planning & Control Department for Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd.’s Turkmenistan branch.From May 2011 to February 2012, he worked as a leading specialist in the Contracts and Marketing Department of the Directorate for the Development of Gas Fields and Construction of Gas Pipelines at the Turkmengaz State Concern.Between 2012 and 2020, he held senior positions within the Supreme Chamber of Control the role of Head of the State Investment and Construction Projects Analysis Department and Acting Head of the same department.From October 2020 until February 2025, the applicant served as the Head of the Department for Supervising Particularly Important and Major Construction Projects in the Economy, Finance, and Banking Sector within the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.Since February 2025 and to the present day, the applicant has been serving as Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Turkmenistan.
